Second Valentine’s Day Inspired Look

Hey lovelies,

If any of you guys are like me, you are a procrastinator lol. At least when it comes to plans and what I’m going to wear. This always leaves me thinking about what should I do with my makeup. I wanted to give you a second last minute option of inspiration for this lovely Valentine’s Day.

This look is all about focusing on a traditional Valentine’s Day red lip. However, this red is far from traditional, even down to the name. Being that I wanted the focus to be the lip I went much softer and romantic of the eyes. Hope you enjoy and let me know below if you were in any way inspired or were looking forward to try any of the items listed..

For complexion I usually prefer a light to medium coverage and I opted for my usual combo.

Make Up For Ever ultra HD foundation in 127 mixed with Burberry Fresh glow.

Lately I’ve been concealing with BareMinerals bare skin serum concealer on medium golden and use Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard to highlight underneath my eyes, bridge of the nose, chin, etc.

Since darkening my hair I now feel like I can get more use out of Anastasia Beverly Hills original contour kit in light medium.
For some blush I used MACs mineralize skin finish in cheeky bronze (what a cute name). To get my highlight on fleek like the ever so Beautiful Jaclyn Hill, I use her
Becca Cosmetics collaboration shimmering skin perfector pressed in Champagne Pop.

Then lastly to set everything in place and make every layer of product that I applied bind together and last longer, I use my ride or die holy grail product the Make Up For Ever Mist and Fix.

For my brows I use products from the brow queen Anastasia Beverly Hills. Recently I have been using her new brow definer in Dark Brown and the perfecting with brow wiz in the same color. No matter what I use on my brows I always make sure to set with her clear brow gel.

For a soft glam eye I also used her Shadow Couture World Traveler palette. I used the shades soft peach, morocco, fudge, bellini, chic, and pink champagne. The only color outside of this palette I used was MACs mylar eyeshadow on the brow bone.

To open up the eye I used Sephora Collection long wear eye pencil in infinite beige. This has become my favorite eyeliner to brighten the eye because it’s the perfect flesh/bone color.

Now for the star of the show I used Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in UNICORN BLOOD. Now tell me that name isn’t bomb lol

If you guys like the look or if you enjoy a little more of a detailed description of the looks let me know too.
Until next time,
Love beauty and makeup,

Rebecca M.
